RIP, Azzedine Alaia:
Had to make quick mention of the passing of one of the great fashion designers, Azzedine Alaia, who died over the weekend at the age of 82. Alaia was famous for form-fitting dresses with impeccable detail and tailoring, clothes that essentially changed the landscape of design in the '80s and '90s. Michelle Obama wore Alaia when she was first lady, and Melania wore one of his iconic belts as recently as several days ago.
